Post exam comments December 2014

As I am creating my personal study notes package today, the level 1 candidates are writing their exams. Personally, I have a few good friends who are also writing this exam today, and I wish all of you guys the best. It's a tough day considering you must get up early and go through a 6 hour exam, it literally can take 12 hours from beginning to end, but it will be worthwhile afterall as I've repeatedly heard from my friends that they have learned so much from their studies and a lot of it will be great resources for their jobs, not to mention I have done this myself.

If you are reading this post after your exam, give yourself a pat on the shoulder because you deserve it. no matter what the result will be in a month, you have done something exordinary that most people will not even consider doing, so congratulations on completing the exam!

You have about a month or so to not think about this exam, enjoy it and don't think about it : ) I remember the huge relief and all the free time i had not having to study for some time. After such a long and difficult few months, try take your loved one out for dinner, greet your kids again, and say hello to your colleagues at work, relax and enjoy everything you have fought for.

I'd love to hear from you guys about the exam day and your experience, when you leave your comment, please keep in mind do not discuss exam questions. Finally, I wish all of you guys the best today and enjoy your weekend!

Hi, I wanna say BIG thank you. I read your blog, follow your advice and I think I pass level 1. I am not 100% confident...but i think i did well enough to pass.
After I did my exam, i thought it was ok, not too difficult, but i think it is because i follow all your tips and strategy. So BIG THANK YOU ! After the exam, went straight to bed and just woke up ! Your blog really helps me a lot and i will for sure visit your blog even if i pass level1...because i still have 2 levels to go....what notes you are working on? I thought i would be the first one to post a comment after the exam...guess there are more die hard fan than me.
I also think I did OK....but too early to say. But i admit that your strategy and tips were a HUGE help. I even thought about your tips after the exam and i told myself that it is good i took the time to read your blog and follow your tips. Thanks, it was really helpful. Similar to Ricky, I will definitively come back to visit your blog as I heard level 2 even harder....will let you know the result.

Hi, I fail, fail, fail, fail to...
to be the first one to post a comment after the exam...
But the the good news is I think I pass level 1 ! hahahaha
But as other say, it may be a bit too early to say with 100% confidence. I manage to answer all the questions easily. For me too, afternoon session was harder than morning one. Me too, i agree your tips and strategy help me big time! After the exam, i thought it was not that hard...but then i realize it is because i read your blog, follow literally all your tips, advice and strategy. So a HUGE THANKS is understatement. I am also interested in your notes. If i pass level 1, then how can i buy your level 2 notes?
I have a paypall account.
Thanks, your blog ROCKS !!!! you have no idea how much you help me!

Feel very down...congratulation to those who feel they pass...too bad i cannot feel that way. :(
I wish i found your blog earlier. I only find out 3 weeks ago.
Thanks. At least your blog is a good mental support.

Thanks Anonymous, Ricky, Sue, Laura, Nguyen, Alan, Isabella, and Dicky, for your positive comments about the blog and my strategies. And I am glad to hear that these strategies helped you in your studies, even just a bit.

I am also happy to know that some of you have a high level of confidence yesterday and are interested in my notes. I can assure you whether you pass or not, your hardwork will payoff one way or another.

As to the notes, I am currently designing the level 1 prep material from my past notes and adding updates. Now that I read your comments, maybe i should start level 2 at the same time. This will depend on my workload during the week. Anyhow you guys should take a vacation now and relax. I thank you for continuing to visit this blog and providing your feedback to me.

I didn't take level 1 exam as i already pass. Studying level 2 for June. Based on everyone comments, i think i should start to read all your blog and material/tips related to level 2.
I am HIGHLY interested in your notes. How much would it cost for level 2? And would it be possible to mail it by end of February?
I will be away in Xmas and New Year. I will be back in January but want to study a bit by my own. So if I can get your notes for level 2 by end of February then I still have 3 months to review using your notes. I guess we still need to study in the cfa books and we cannot just rely on your notes????? if we can just rely on your notes and pass the exam level 2 without studying cfa notes, then can I order NOW level 2 ? :)
What is the process to order? where should I order? and how much is shipping fee? I live in Montreal, Canada.
Thanks

hi, me too, already pass level 1. I am interested to buy your notes for level 2. I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. What would be shipping fee? do you have a pdf file or just hard copy?
If only hard copy, how long will it take to get it?
I am really a big fan of your blog. I have not visited your blog for a while as i saw not much update. I am glad I came today. Congrats to all the people who did level 1 exam. i agree, no matter you pass or fail, it is a good experience, however quite tiring one ! I know, been there...now struggling for level 2. I find level 1 ok easy. Level 2 is so difficult. Hope you will post more on the blog for level 2.
Your blog is really like pure and refreshing water in a hot and dry desert !!!
Thanks great blog !

Hi, I didn't do level 1 exam as I already passed it. Been studying level 2. I didn't see any new post? I really like your blog with your personal touch and experience on thus difficult journey. Your tips are very helpful. The only thing is it is a bit too much focused on level 1. Can you write more on level 2? Thanks a lot.

Hi, no new update ? I really love your blog. I saw that you gave quite a lot of people voting for level 2, I didn't vote but me too, I'm also interested for level 2.
I am studying hard for level 2, best time of the year to study, business slow and more days off during Xmas and new year.
I have a study group with 5 of my friends and half of us do level 2 and the rest level 1. After I mention your blog, my friends love it so much and keep checking on your blog, every time we meet, beside studying together, we discuss about your latest post. The six of us really want to buy your notes. Can we order now? Is it PDF version?please let us know how we can order 3 notes on level 2 and 3 notes on level 1? In total 6. Can I pay by cheque ? Or do I need to pay with credit card or PayPal? We are really serious, based on the quality of your blog, we already know we want to order your notes now. Also can you let us know the price for each level?
Thanks!

Hi, I have followed your blog for some time and I think it is really very nice blog. Your post is very personal and insightful. I wanted to contact you to place a big order of your notes. But i could not find any contact form.
Could you please let me know how I can contact you ? I do not want to put my private email on this post.
It is xmas time and new year soon and all my friends, and cousin and myself, we all study level 1 or 2. Some of them already quite familiar with your blog and love it. Many of us discuss about your blog when we study together. Similar to Richard, we also have study group and we discuss your latest post and your strategy and tips. My cousins who did level 1 say they feel they pass it MAINLY THANKS TO YOU !!! Now their gf or the family of their gf want to take level 1. My cousins have referred your blog to them. So I think the best xmas gift is your notes :) I would like to order 5 notes for level 1 and 17 notes for level 2. Please give me the details how to contact you. My name is Thao. Do you think if i order today, i can receive all by mail before xmas? or new year?
Thanks

Hi, me too, i want to contact you to place a big order. I think it is a great xmas gift. all my friends are doing level 1; some of my family member doing level 1 and 2.
I am also a big fan of your blog. I am also studying level 2. Beside that, i am part of a chinese community where I teach finance/investment to help our community to get better investment knowledge. More and more people that come, are interested in level 1 as they are doing or thinking to study cfa level. 1. Sometimes I use the knowledge I have in my brain to teach some investment concept based on level 1. But the way i explain is really not as clear as your blog. For example I love your post on bond and yield curve. I use that example from your blog a lot of times. Even old people like the way i explain using your example. Please let me know where is the contact form. I would like to place an order of 10 notes book on level 1 and 3 on level 2.
Thanks
